On December 9 in Albany County Court, District Attorney P. David Soares announced today that Reinaldo Maldonado, of Albany, was found guilty of the possession of Cocaine. The jury found that Maldonado was guilty on more than one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
An investigation by the Albany Police Department led to a full search at Maldonado’s home on North Pearl Street in the City of Albany. After retaining the search warrant, the Police uncovered over 5.5 ounces of cocaine hidden in Maldonado’s bedroom.
Maldonado now faces up to 10 years in State Prison when he is sentenced on January 20, 2017.
