On Thursday, November 17th The NYS Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice Center) announced the launch of a new online source for information. This new edition was built to help improve relations not only between the people and the NYS Justice Center, but for people who suffer from disabilities as well.
“The Justice Center is committed to developing tools and programs to support and empower all New Yorkers with disabilities,” said Davin Robinson, Justice Center Deputy Director of Outreach, Prevention and Support. “The links being made available in this new Clearinghouse provide individuals with easy access to information on issues that affect their ability to fully participate in their communities.”
The Disability Resource Clearinghouse connects people with disabilities, advocates, caretakers, and families. It is so important for people struggling with those who are faced with disabilities, that this new online source gives them an outlet to connect with one another. Not only does the online website offer information, but it also offers help through a hotline that is a free service opened during business hours.
