The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, Local Union #5, will conduct a recruitment from May 23, 2016 through May, 22 2017 for five bricklayer, mason, and plasterer apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today.
Applications can be obtained at Local Union #5, 1 Scobie Drive, Newburgh, NY from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. every Monday, excluding holidays, during the recruitment period. All applications must be postmarked no later than 05/22/17.
The Committee required that applicants: 1) Must be at least 18 years old. 2) Must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (such as TASC or GED).
