MORE ‘AFFORDABLE HOUSING’ FORCED ON TAXPAYING NEW YORKERS

By ROCCO ARTESIAN

Buffalo has been blessed with another housing development earmarked for low income families. Nope, this $13.4 million, 46-unit development of sorts can’t be utilized by hard-working middle class residents of New York. It’s just available to those people who suck off the other taxpayers; those who already get free food, free health care, free cell phones and free money from the government (i.e. – the rest of U.S. citizens).

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo gleefully announced the re-distribution of wealth program, saying, “As one of the largest investments in affordable housing in Buffalo in recent memory, this announcement marks a major step forward for western New Yorkers. With the cost of living continuing to climb, it is more important than ever to protect and expand the supply of affordable housing in New York. This project will make a fundamental difference in the lives of dozens of hard-working families, and is another example of how we are creating vibrant, sustainable communities across the State.”

Maybe Obama will direct Cuomo to give these housing units to the Syrian refugees. Or maybe Cuomo will do it on his own.
