Monday November 23rd at 12pm, Senator Parker and Senator Klein will present a check for $100,000 to Housing and Family Services of New York.
The donation will help mitigate the pressures and challenges faced by both tenants and homeowners with regard to willful neglect and harassment by landlords who try to push tenants out, and foreclosure preventions services to ensure that Brooklyn residents can continue to live the American dream of homeownership.
The presentation event will take place at the house of Judith Alexander, a woman who just recently was facing foreclosure on the house she has lived in for years.
