Robbery Valley Stream

Police are investigating a robbery on Tuesday November 17th at 10:25pm.

According to detectives, after picking up a fare on 145th Street in Queens, the victim, a 37 year old male taxi driver, was asked by the male black fare to drive him to Flower Road behind the Green Acres Mall. Once at the location, he directed the driver to continue onto Bittersweet Lane and drive to the end of the road. The subject then withdrew a knife, placed it up to the victim’s shoulder and demanded money. The victim complied and after giving the subject $100.00, he left the taxi and fled on foot through the dead end.

The driver, who was uninjured, described the subject as being in his 20’s with a thin build, a dark complexion and wearing a hoodie.
