Persistent illegal alien sentenced, again

ALBANY - Prisiliano Martinez-Rojas, 36, was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 10 months, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for illegally reentering the United States after removal.   Monday’s sentencing followed Martinez-Rojas's July 30, guilty plea.

Martinez-Rojas, a citizen of Mexico, was removed from the United States to Mexico on June 4, 2008 after completing the sentence on his 2008 Western District of New York conviction of illegal reentry into the United States after removal. He was also removed from the United States to Mexico on May 7, 2002 and twice in July 2008.

On June 9, 2009, Martinez-Rojas was encountered and arrested at a Wal-Mart Store in Queensbury, by State Police.
