Police seeking suspect who spied on woman in store dressing room

HUNTINGTON STATION - Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help relating to an unlawful surveillance investigation in Huntington Station.

On Thursday, August 21, at approximately 7:25 p.m. a woman was changing in a fitting room in a department store at 350 Walt Whitman Road Huntington Station, when she saw a person insert a recording device underneath the door while she was dressing. The woman followed the suspect through the store in an attempt to stop him from fleeing. The suspect exited the store and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the man in the attached photos. He is described as Hispanic, in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Second Squad detectives at (631) 854-8252, or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
