Long Island bank robbed

MINEOLA - The Robbery Squad reports the details of a Bank Robbery which occurred on Thursday, August 07, 2014 at 10:52 A.M. in Mineola.

A black male, about 30 years old, 5’ 7” to 5’ 8”, 150 pounds with a thin build and a dark complexion wearing a dark bucket hat, dark sunglasses and a long sleeved button down shirt with diagonal stripes entered the Chase bank located at 175 East Jericho Turnpike and presented a teller with a demand note.  The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

There were five employees and three customers in the bank at the time.  No injuries were reported.
