Teens charged with murder of elderly Orange County woman

GOSHEN – Two teenagers charged with murder in connection with the death of an 81-year-old Goshen woman over the weekend.

The body of Helen Mills was found in her 84 Green Street, Goshen home early Saturday morning when firefighters were called to extinguish a blaze there.

On Monday, authorities announced that Jennifer Molyneaux, 17, of the Town of Wallkill, and Devin Giordano, 19, of the Village of Goshen, were each charged with felony murder, accusing them of causing Miller’s death during a burglary at her home on Saturday.

The two-alarm fire brought out several fire departments and was investigated by Goshen Village and State Police along with the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, District Attorney’s Office and Fire Coordinator’s Office.
