Woman’s death in Suffolk County ruled homicide

FARMINGVILLE - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Farmingville woman.

Officers responded to 108 Berkshire Drive, Farmingville, after receiving a 911 call at 3:18 Sundayafternoon.  When officers arrived, they found Monica Lino, 36, who lives at the home, dead.  Further investigation revealed she was a victim of violence.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
