One dead, three injured in Hudson Valley crash

FISHKILL – One person was killed and three were injured Saturday afternoon when their car ran of the road and struck a rock wall, several trees and a utility pole in Fishkill.

A passenger, Siobhan Dolphin, 18, of Fishkill, died at MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.

Dillon Harrison, 20, of Wappingers Falls, was taken to Westchester Medical Center in stable condition. Spencer Eisenhuth, 21, of Wappingers Falls, was taken to Westchester Med in critical condition. Carmine Sorvillo, 27, of Wappingers Falls, the driver, was taken to MidHudson Regional with non-life threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed Sorvillo was driving on Baxtertown Road when he lost control. The car crossed lanes, went off the road, struck a rock wall, several trees and a utility pole before coming to rest.

Unsafe speed is thought to be a significant factor. There was no immediate indication of drug or alcohol involvement.
