Two men severely burned after crashing Ferrari

TOWN OF WASHINGTON - State Police responded to a one-car serious personal-injury auto accident on Chestnut Ridge Road in the Town of Washington on June 8, at about 4:12PM. Initial investigation indicated that a 2013 Ferrari convertible, being operated by Pablo Cisilino, 46.of Manhattan, was southbound on Chestnut Ridge Road, north of Killearn Road, at an excessive speed. At that point, Cisilino lost control and failed to negotiate a curve. After skidding for about 200 feet, the vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck two trees. The force of the collision with the second tree returned the vehicle to the roadway where it burst into flames.

Cisilino and his passenger, Sebestian Pane, 38, from Argentina, were severely burned. Despite receiving burns to over seventy percent on their bodies, they were able to remove themselves from the burning vehicle which was destroyed. Local residents heard what was called "numerous loud explosions." They went to the crash scene where they found and assist the two men.

Cisilino and Pane were both flown to Westchester Medical Center where both remain in critical condition. The investigation into the crash is continuing and charges are pending the outcome of the investigation. State Police were assisted at the scene by members of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office and the Millbrook Fire Department.
