Two shot, two stabbed in Westchester melee

YONKERS – Police continue to investigate a dispute that began early Saturday morning at a Yonkers bar and spilled out onto the street resulted in two people being shot and two being stabbed.

The incident at the Bottoms Up bar on Nepperhan Avenue began around 2:43 a.m. Two Yonkers men were each treated for a gunshot wound; the 30-year-old was shot in the torso while the 22-year-old was shot in the leg.

A 23-year-old Mount Vernon man was treated for stab wounds to his chest while a 29-year-old Yonkers man was treated for gunshot wounds to his chest.

Another man later went to a Yonkers hospital with a gunshot wound, but he told police he had been shot in the Bronx. That is being investigated by NYPD.

No suspects were in custody as of Saturday afternoon.

The crime scene covered three blocks and police said the incident did not appear to be gang related.
