Western NY man in jail in lieu of high bail after allegedly violating a protection order

LOCKPORT - State Police arrested a Town of Lockport man on several charges including burglary, for criminal mischief, and multiple counts of criminal contempt, following an incident that occurred on February 6.  Marcus Walton, 32, allegedly entered an apartment of the female victim and dumped bleach on her clothes, valued at $500. 

There is an active full stay away order of protection for the victim. 

Walton also sent numerous Facebook messages to the victim, violating the order.  Walton was sent to Niagara County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bail bond.  He is to reappear at the Town of Lockport Court on February 13
