WARSAW - State Police in Warsaw arrested a Varysburg, NY, man for possessing a sexual performance of a child, a felony.

Frederic Baker, 47, was found to allegedly possess numerous items of child pornography on computers and removable media during an investigation which began in September of 2013. The lengthy investigation was initiated after a computer repair specialist observed suspected child pornography on an item of Baker’s that he was servicing, and reported the findings to State Police. A forensic review of all of Baker’s computers and removable media was conducted by the State Police Computer Crime Unit at SP Batavia after they had been seized.

Baker was taken into custody and arraigned and sent to the Wyoming County Jail without bail.
