Bank robbed in Town of Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE – Police are looking for a female suspect in an evening bank robbery in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

They said at about 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, a woman approached a teller at the TEG Federal Credit Union branch at 11 Marist Drive with a note demanding money.  No weapon was threatened or displayed.  There were no reported injuries.

The suspect was described as being white with a pale complexion, about 25 years old. She was described as having a thin build, about five feet, nine inches to 11 inches tall, wearing dark sunglasses, a long dark jacket with a hood and fur, dark plants and gray gloves.  She fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
