Suffolk County bank robbed

FARMINGDALE - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on January 28, 2014 at 5:51 pm in Farmingdale.

A man entered the Chase Bank, 334 Main Street, approached a teller and handed them a demand note. After being given an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the bank in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as a white male, 6’2” tall, wearing dark clothing, a mask covering his face and gloves,

During the Robbery there were 5 employees and 5 customers present, none of whom were injured.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this Robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
