Man found dead in Suffolk County parking lot

COPIAGUE - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of an unidentified man whose body was found in Copiague.

First Precinct police officers were called to 7 Ralph Avenue in Copiague yesterday when it was reported that the body of a man had been discovered in the parking lot at that location. When police arrived, they found the body of a man behind a dumpster. The man appeared to be the victim of violence.

The victim’s identity has not been established and he was taken to the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be performed.
