Babylon bank robbery suspect arrested

BABYLON - Suffolk County Police today arrested Eric Hyndman for robbing the Capitol One Bank in Babylon on June 7.   Detectives charged Hyndman, 47, of Copiague, with one count of Robbery 3rd Degree.  He was also arrested for a Petit Larceny warrant.  He will be held overnight at the Seventh Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on June 11.

Police allege Hyndman entered the bank at 8 Little East Neck Road, at approximately 12:20 p.m., approached a teller, and verbally demanded cash. The teller complied with the demand and the suspect fled the bank in a light colored late model work van.
