School principal charged with sexually assaulting juvenile he solicited online
FREEPORT – Nassau County police report the arrest of a Freeport man for a Criminal Sexual Act that was committed last September in Freeport.
According to detectives, John Omard, 44, of 23 Irving Avenue, the JW Dodd Middle School principal of Freeport public schools, met the then 16 year old male victim via an online social website, arraigned a meeting with the victim, drove him back to his house and engaged in sexual acts with the victim against his will.
Omard is charged with four counts of criminal sexual act 3rd degree and was scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday in Hempstead.
