Fugitive wanted for child sex crimes arrested |

LYONS - State police arrested Dagoberto Ruiz-Barrios, 41, from Tuxtla Gutierrec, Mexico, for three counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, rape in the first degree and two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree all felonies. Barrios reportedly raped a six-year-old female in July of 2011, in Clyde, New York. Barrios was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia by the United States Marshals Task Force on a Wayne County Superior Court Warrant of Arrest and extradited back to Wayne County. Barrios was arraigned last week in Wayne County Court and committed to the Wayne County Jail without bail. State Police were assisted in the investigation by the Wayne County District Attorney's Office, the United States Marshals Service, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the United States Border Patrol and the Victim Resource Center of the Finger Lakes. |
