Snow snarls travel in parts of the state

ALBANY - State Police, Troop K which covers Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester Counties reminds motorist to exercise due care when traveling the roadways today. Inclement weather in the form of sleet and freezing rain is expected to continue throughout the morning hours which will make all roadways slick and unpredictable. Allow adjustments to your schedule to ensure for a safe commute wherever you are headed.

Since 6:00PM yesterday when the storm began, police have handled 41 disabled vehicles, 38 property damage auto accidents and three personal injury auto accidents.
