Bus driver charged with sexually assaulting child
UTICA – The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center announced the arrest of Abubakar Baharo after an investigation into a sexual assault of a child that occurred last week on a Birnie Bus in Utica.
Baharo was charged with sexual abuse in the 1st degree and committed to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000.00 bail.
The victim has been offered counseling services through the Child Advocacy Center.
