BALLSTON SPA – A Saratoga County Grand Jury handed up an indictment against Aaron Emerson, 26, presently of the Saratoga County Jail, a registered sex offender, Level II on the NYS Sex Offender Registry. 

He was indicted for the crimes of:

• Criminal Sex Act in the First Degree as a Class B Violent Felony for allegations he had oral sexual contact by force with a 15 year old female, not related to the defendant. 

• Unlawful Surveillance in the First Degree as Class D Felony for allegations he photographed an 18 year old female in the nude without her permission while she was unaware.

• Sex Abuse in the First Degree as a Class D Felony for an allegation he had sexual contact with a 17 year old female while she was sleeping.  The victim became aware of the pictures as she discovered them on the defendant's cell phone and reported to authorities.

All of the offenses occurred in the Town of Moreau, Saratoga County over the time of January 2012 through July 2012.  The indictment contains a total of eight counts as it relates to three victims, the highest charges of each count pertaining to each victim are above. 

The defendant is incarcerated on the charges and will be held until Saratoga County Court can schedule and arraignment on the indictment.  Bail is set at $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond.
