Man faces felony charge for pulling fire alarm at casino |

VERONA – The Oneida County Sheriff’s department responded at about 3:10 Saturday morning to the Turning Stone Casino for a report of a man who had pulled a fire alarm. Deputies later locates and arrest Richard Lounsbury, 21, for falsely reporting an incident in the second degree, a class E felony. During the investigation deputies found that Lounsbury had pulled a fire alarm on the third floor of the parking garage when there was no fire or emergency. Lounsbury was arraigned at Verona Town Court and held at the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. Lounsbury is scheduled to return to Verona Town Court on 02/26/2013 at 4:00 PM for a felony hearing. Turning Stone Security and the Oneida Nation Police assisted in the investigation. |
