Woman dies after falling out of pickup
MARLBOROUGH – An Ulster County woman who fell out of the back of a moving pickup truck Saturday night has died.
Kristina Kornberg, 30, 548 Lattintown Road, Marlborough, was injured in the incident on Lattintown Road the previous evening. Following the accident, Kornberg was transported to St. Francis hospital in Poughkeepsie where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
A preliminary investigation indicated Kornberg fell out of the back of a pickup truck and struck her head on the roadway.
The investigation is continuing. State Police ask anyone with information to contact 845-691-2912.
