FARMINGVILLE - Suffolk County Police are investigating a shooting in Farmingville that killed a Mastic Beach man early Saturday morning.

Sixth Precinct patrol officers responded to a 911 call of a shooting in front of Empire Bar and Lounge, at 2 Warren Avenue, at 3:16 a.m. When officers arrived, there was a large crowd outside and people were fighting.

The victim, Randell Hollman, 25, of 6 Hackensack Road, Mastic Beach, was transported in a private vehicle to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue for a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at that hospital.
