Passenger killed, driver charged with DWI

TOWN OF NASSAU - State Police are investigating a one-vehicle fatal car crash that occurred February 16, at approximately 2:20 AM. 

An SUV, driven by Marian Hubbard, 21, of West Sand Lake, was eastbound on ST 20 in the Town of Nassau when the vehicle crossed into the westbound lane, struck a guide rail on the north shoulder of the roadway, and overturned.  The rear seat passenger, Alicia Hubbard, 19, of Nassau was ejected from the vehicle.  The vehicle continued down an earth embankment and overturned several more times ejecting the driver and the front seat passenger, Nicole Hubbard, 19, of West Sand Lake. 

Alicia Hubbard was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver, Marian Hubbard, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to Albany Medical Center where she is listed in serious condition. 

The driver and the rear seat passenger were not wearing seatbelts.
