Man arrested in 1994 West Babylon homicide

NEW YORK - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives have arrested a New York City man in connection with a 1994 homicide that occurred in West Babylon.

Two men entered the Diamond Trucking Company, located on 174 Cabot St., on March 22, 1994 and shot two employees in the course of an attempted robbery. Mario Andujar, 30, died at the scene.  The second victim survived.

Following an investigation, Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives arrested Troy Arrighi, 37, of 400 East 30th St., New York City, at his home on February 14. Arrighi was charged with Murder 2nd Degree and was scheduled for arraignment Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
