Subject Arrested after Killing Neighbor's Dog

JAMESTOWN - State Police were called to Belknap Road in the Town of French Creek in the afternoon of February 9 for a complaint of a subject shooting and killing a neighbors dog and shooting and injuring another. 

Troopers responded and located Dennis Teed, 44 of Belknap Road who admitted to shooting the dogs because they were trespassing on his land.  Teed reportedly stalked and tracked the dogs and killed one As he saw them on his property. 

Teed was arrested for Felony Criminal Mischief 3rd, Felony Aggravated Cruelty to animals, and Misdemeanor Cruelty to animals.  He was arraigned by the Town of French Creek Justice and released on bail.
