Person of interest located in Hudson Valley murder

KINGSTON – A person of interest in the murder of Anita Jacobs-Royer in her Kingston home has been located by the Detective Division of the Kingston City Police Department.

Police did not release the person’s name or if he was charged in connection with her death.

The person of interest, a New York State parolee wanted for violating parole, was located in New York City with the assistance of the US Marshals Service, State Parole, State Police and other agencies.

Jacobs-Royer, 45, was founded murdered in her home at 56 Third Avenue in Kingston this last week.
