ALBANY – A Woodstock doctor was sentenced Thursday to three years of probation for his guilty plea in US District Court in Albany to a felony charge of selling Hydrocodone without a legitimate medical purpose. Wayne Longmore, 63, was also sentenced to six months of house detention and 200 hours of community service. In his plea agreement last October, Longmore admitted to writing prescriptions for seven-day periods for $60. In total, he admitted to distributing between 2,500 and 5,000 units of Hydrocodone. Longmore could have faced up to 10 years in prison when sentenced. |
