Koch funeral today

NEW YORK – Former president Bill Clinton and current mayor Michael Bloomberg are among those who will speak at today’s funeral for former mayor Ed Koch who died on Friday at age 88.

The funeral will be Monday morning at Temple Emanu-El, on Manhattan’s upper east side.  He will be laid to rest in Trinity Church Cemetery, where he purchased a plot five years ago, saying he did “… not want to leave Manhattan”.

Koch served three terms as mayor, beginning in 1978.
