GOSHEN – A Village of Florida man upset that his former girlfriend had a new boyfriend, shot and killed the man, was sentenced in Orange County Court on Wednesday to 25 years to life in prison.

Todd Sinclair stalked the couple as they drove through the streets of Port Jervis on February 2, 2011.  Sinclair chased the couple, and another man who was in the car with them, and when the victim, Randy Kizer, 21, stopped his car, Sinclair got out of his vehicle and shot Kizer several times, killing him.

Sinclair, who fled the scene, was arrested several hours later in Monroe.

In addition to the prison sentence, Sinclair must make restitution to the family for funeral expenses and pay into the state crime victim’s fund.
