ELMONT – Nassau County police are investigating two apparent homicides which occurred on Monday, January 28, at 6:33 P.M. in Elmont.

Officers responded to a call for a smell of gas at 171 Sussex Road.  Upon arrival at scene it was determined there was no gas leak.  During the investigation two bodies were discovered in the home with apparent gunshot wounds.  

Karan Rodgers-Dennis, 58, and Audley Dennis, 46, were pronounced deceased by a Nassau County AMT at 7:00 P.M. in the home.
