Long Island bank robbed
EAST GARDEN CITY – Police continue the search for a suspect who robbed the Citibank branch at 600 Old Country Rd. East Garden City, on Tuesday January 22, at 2:45 PM,
The suspect entered bank carrying a bag and approached the victim teller. Subject passed a robbery demand note and made verbal demands. The suspect displayed a black handgun which was concealed in the bag. Subject placed currency in the bag and was last seen on foot leaving the bank.
The suspect is a white male, mid. 40’s, 5’8”, average build, black baseball cap, sunglasses, blue jacket, black pants and tan sweater.
No vehicle was observed.
