ALBANY – An Altamont, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while intoxicated, a Class D felony, in Albany County Court on this week. As a repeat offender, Turner faces 1 1/3 to 4 years in State Prison when sentenced on February 26. On December 15, 2012, Turner was observed speeding on Western Avenue in the Town of Guilderland. When the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop, he fled into a nearby golf course, eventually stopping his car and fleeing into nearby woods. Turner was apprehended a short distance away from his car and exhibited multiple signs of intoxication. He refused to submit to a breath test. Turner was on probation at the time of the offense for a DWI he received in 2008.
