Bohemia man killed in crash
YAPHANK - Suffolk County Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a Bohemia man Saturday night.
Daniel Methven was northbound on Yaphank-Middle Island Road in Yaphank when his car struck a telephone pole and came to rest in a wooded area.
Methven, 39, was working for Longwood School District Security at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle has been impounded for a safety check.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
