Child porn arrest on Long Island

BRENTWOOD – The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Brentwood arrested of Victor Nieto, 32, of Copiague, for multiple counts of “possessing a sexual performance by a child”, a felony.
Nieto was arrested after an investigation conducted by the “Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force” and the State Police “Computer Crime Unit” determined that he had possessed a quantity of sexually explicit videos of underage children on his computer.  Information had been developed that Nieto was offering to share these illicit videos via the internet.  These illicit videos were located on his personal computer, following the execution of a search warrant at his former apartment by State Police personnel last month.
Nieto is scheduled for arraignment in Suffolk County First District Court in Central Islip today.
