Oneida County man charged with sexual abuse of a child
ORISKANY – A Blossvale man has been arrested and charged with sexual abuse. William Blake, 20 was arrested by the Rome Police Department after an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred nearly two years ago. Blake was charged with sexual abuse in the 1st Degree, a felony.
Blake was arraigned and sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail. The case has been referred to the Oneida County District Attorney's Office for Grand Jury consideration.
The victim has been offered counseling through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
