Guilty plea in child sexual assault case
ALBANY – An Albany man pleaded guilty to one count of criminal sexual act in the first degree, a Class B felony, in Albany County Court.
Stephen McBride, 44, faces up to 16 years in State Prison to be followed by 10 years of post-release supervision when sentenced on February 13, 2013. McBride, 44, will be required to register as a sex offender.
On March 1, 2012 McBride engaged in oral sexual conduct with a child less than 11 years old. DNA evidence later found supported the case.
McBride remains in custody until sentencing on Feburary 13, 2013.
