Teens shot, police look for suspect |

FREEPORT – Nassau County police are investigating the shooting of two teens that occurred about 7 p.m., December 26, in Freeport. According to detectives, Freeport Police received a 911 call for shots fired near 63 South Main Street. Upon arrival, police found two male victims ages 16 and 18 lying on the ground suffering from apparent gun-shot wounds. Both victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The subject is described as a male white hispanic with no further description. Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous. |
