LOCKPORT -  On December 13, State Police in Lockport arrested Martimiano Vasquez-Santiago, 32, of Lockport, rape in the third degree, two counts, a felony, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree, both misdemeanors.

Police received a report that a fifteen year old female had had sexual contact with Vasquez-Santiago in late 2011 in the village of Barker.  The investigation revealed that Vasquez-Santiago had sexual intercourse with the juvenile on two occasions and provided her alcohol on one of the occasions.

Vasquez-Santiago was arraigned and sent to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $200 cash bail.  He is scheduled to appear before the Town of Somerset Court on January 3.
