Police quickly arrest pizza store robber

PENFIELD – A Webster woman is in jail after allegedly robbing a Pizza Hut on Empire Blvd in Penfield late Saturday night.

Police say Barbara Cotie, 45, entered the Pizza Hut and demanded money from a male victim while she pointed a pistol grip shotgun at him. The victim gave Cotie a small amount of cash then fled to a restaurant next door to call 911.

Cotie was subsequently stopped by a Webster police officer.  She was charged robbery in the first degree and sent to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
