Silver Alert on Long Island |

NORTH AMITYVILLE - Suffolk County Police has issued a Silver Alert regarding a missing North Amityville man who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Felix Augustin, 84, was reported missing by family members on November 29 and was last seen on November 13 at his home, located at 19 Walnut Road. Augustin is described as black, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 180 pounds with white hair, brown eyes and a short beard. He was wearing black pants, a multi-colored shirt and a brown jacket with black shoes. He walks with a cane and has limited English proficiency with Creole as his primary language. Detectives are asking anyone with information on Augustin’s whereabouts to call the Missing Persons Section 631-852-6044. |
