HYDE PARK – A Hyde Park woman was found murdered in her home on Thanksgiving and police are conducting an intensive investigation trying to find out who killed her.

Laurie Ferguson, 67, was found dead in Mobile Manor Home Park residence on Thursday.  Authorities immediately called it a homicide.

Rhinebeck State Police and Hyde Park Town Police are jointly investigating.  They are seeking assistance in locating her car, which had been taken.

The vehicle is described as a 2006 gray Saturn Ion with New York license plates: AFD7244.
