Transportation services in and around NYC remains severely disrupted

NEW YORK - Most service on the Long Island Railroad and Metro-North remains suspended, with a few exceptions where a limited number of trains may be operating.

MTA bus and rail services that are operating are offering free rides Thursday and Friday.  The service began at midnight this morning.

Most New York City bridges and tunnels are open, with the exception of Hugh Carey and Queens Midtown.  Cars coming into midtown across or under the Hudson River must have three passengers.
