Power may take days to fully restore

NEW YORK – At the height of the storm on Monday, more than two million New York utility customers were without electricity.  Utility companies report they are making progress in restoring power to essential services first.

Isolated outages in residential areas normally take the longest to restore.  For some customers, the wait could be seven to ten days.
