Man robs Long Island bank

FARMINGVILLE - Suffolk County Police are investigating a robbery late Friday morning at the TD Bank in Farmingville.  

A man entered the bank, located at 949 Horseblock Road, at 11:20 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and gave the man cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot and headed west through the bank parking lot.  

The suspect was described as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, unshaven, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses and a navy blue New York Yankees jacket.
  
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
